Taking photos used to be about capturing a person, and a moment, perfectly. But now that my life is full of messy moments, I can so clearly see that it's rarely the perfectly curated moments that are full of any kind of meaning you'd want to hang on to forever...in fact, it's the times when you can't remember much other than how you felt that I crave the most as a photographer.

I use film and digital, and intuition, to photograph your day. When you hire me, you are not just hiring a girl with a nice camera who knows how to find good light. You are hiring someone who has been around weddings (and their feelings) for 13 years. I have mastered how to anticipate the biggest emotions before they are happening, the quietest moments shared amongst family, and noticing what others might miss, in an exciting and artistic way. I'm not just a photographer, but someone who notices *all* the details, the feelings, and the action.

Each couple that I photograph receives the same level of intentional observation, gentle direction and dedication (re: hype).
